Trip Overview

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a breathtaking adventure that takes you around Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth-highest peak in the world. This trek offers a remote and less crowded alternative to the Annapurna Circuit, providing spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, pristine landscapes, and diverse cultural encounters with the local Gurung and Tibetan communities.

The trek passes through Larkya La Pass (5,160m), one of the longest and most dramatic mountain passes in the Himalayas. This challenging yet rewarding trek offers stunning scenery, ranging from lush forests and terraced farmlands to rugged alpine terrain.

Itinerary

  • Welcome briefing and preparation for trek.
  • Scenic drive through rivers, hills, and countryside.
  • 156 KM drive, about 30Km off road
  • cross many different landscape and small town.

After breakfast. we will start our trek through off road. we will cross Machhakhola and budhigandaki river through belly bridge. After walk about 2hrs. we will be in Tatopani (Hot spring) , again we continue off road next  one and half hour. we will cross next bridge , place called Dovan we will make Tea stop there. from there we will walk through the trail. while we walk about 45m. we reach Syauli Bhatti. we make lunch stop there, we will pass big landslide, we get  Yaru bagar with in 1 hour. we will see many cottage there and walk about 20 minute next landslide. then we will cross suspension bridge. then we start shortly gradually up then we will cross cantilever bridge. After 30m walk we will cross next suspension bridge and get back to road. we will walk another 40m on the off road then we will get our destinationJagat. we mostly Follow the Budi Gandaki River, passing through terraced fields and forests.

Wake up and get ready to have your Mountain breakfast in the tea house. we will check in our all permit in Manaslu conservation area check post, by that time we will see two peak which know as  Lapchung 5880m and Chhapchung 5996m.  We will cross Jagat Khola by suspension bridge, and follow the off road about 40m.we will reach at Salleri, with in about minute we will see Singri peak 7161m. continue off road next  one and half hour , place called Ghattekhola, where is the off road ending and it is popular junction  for donkeys.  we will see old big village which know as filim village. we start right gradual down, cross old mane, stupa and carving old rocks with chanting Mantra. Then we will cross on of the longest suspension bridge , start the climbing part about one and half hour, the we will reach Filim. we get the MCAP office, check in the permit there. we might make short tea break there . also we will check in our permit with police check post. After that we will walk about 40m. to reach Chisapani village. continue one and half hour trek to Nyakphedi. we will cross the suspension bridge. Then we will see another trekking rout Tsum valley, we will take left  trail to go Manaslu circuit. we will have lunch there in Pewa village. after lunch we will pass Bamboo forest and jungle abot two hours. we reach in our final destination Deng.

Trek through Gurung villages and cross multiple suspension bridges.

Regular session , After breakfast we will start our trek to Namrung village, starting by gradually up and down. we will pass camping side when there was no tea house trek started, cross the suspension bridge, , walk step up about 30 minute. we reach Ranagau / Rana Village. the trail goes  up down and flat to Bihi phedi. After Phedi we get Bihi village. we might make tea break here and continue next 3hrs to Ghap. where we make lunch break. we will cross old box bridge, we continue in jungle about an hour, we will se one tea house known as Jungle hotel, again cross the bridge and walk next one and half hour continue in the forest cross the next bridge and continue climbing about 365m. it takes about one and half hour. then will start 40m gradually flat trail to Apple farm, during the apple harvest season can get fresh juice, continue 45 minute to Namrung village. we will see Saula mountain 6137m from Namrung.
