1. Jamacho Nagarjune : Jamacho day hike is one of the most popular short hikes easily accessible from Kathmandu Valley. It takes about a half-hour drive to reach the spot from the hike starting point. Hiking begins near the Balaju bypass, also known as the Phulbari Gate. After getting the entry ticket at the gate, After get National park entry ticket, can start hiking. Hike will start 1,335m and you will ascend about 800m. your final destination will be 2,130m. we can see different ranges of Himalayan view if the weather is good. after explore time there, you may go round trip which is going to be 3 hours round trip or you can come down same way. it will take about 1hr 45m. Then car will drop to you Hotel.
2. Sivapuri Nagarjun
Sivapuri Hike is must popular hike around Kathmandu. It will drive about 30 minute from center of Kathmandu. While we reach hiking starting point Budhanilkantha, we will arrange the National park entry ticket then we start our hike. we will pass beautiful waterfall, Monetary, Elevation:Trail: The trail is passes through dense forests, streams, and Nagi Gombu. Shivapuri Peak stands at 2,732 meters (8,963 feet). Duration: 6-7 hours for a round trip, depending on your pace and starting point. while reach there we can see panoramic view of mountains.
3. Champadevi : After the breakfast we will drive about 30 minute to Taudaha or Hattiban resort thwn we will start hiking. The hiking trail to Champadevi starts from a location on the outskirts of Kathmandu and takes around 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit. The trail passes through lush forests with various plant species and is relatively moderate in difficulty, suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers. when we reached the top of hill we will get historical and relisious part Of champadevi temple. Altitude will be 2285 meters. If you want to make long day, there will option to make round trip which will be about 8/9 hrs or can come down same way.
4. Nagarkot changunarayan temple : The Nagarkot to Changu Narayan hike is a popular day trek in Nepal that offers stunning views of the Himalayan range and a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. This Hike is near Kathmandu and the end of Chisapani Nagarkot trekking. It will be 3/4 hour hike. Depend on how you walk. It is interesting easy hike. we will have experience of Local village and nature both. At the end of hike , we will visit Changu Narayan Temple, which was built in 3rd century. The temple belong to Lord Vishnu. the we will drive back 18 KM to the hotel.
5. phulchowki : Very popular Day hike Phulchowki is the tallest hill surrounding Kathmandu valley. The top reaches 2789m. This is an all day hike and is fairly demanding if you are recreational hiker. The trail starts steep with concrete stairs and goes through a dense forest. Now if we avoid hike can drive to the top of Phulchoki. it will be 5/6 hour hike.
6. Namobuddha Panauti : Namobuddha One-Day Hike is a short 1-day trek from Kathmandu valley. we will drive 30KM to Dhulikhel Newari traditional Village. visit Durga Temple the continue drive to Namobudha anothe 12Km. we will visit Namobudhha which know as Homage of Buddha. This 1-day hike is considered an easy and pleasant temple and monastery trek in and around Kathmandu valley. This one-day hike begins from the small Newari town, Dhulikhel (1550m),It is a wonderful Opportunity to visit a sacred place and near by traditional hamlet in the southeast of the Kathmandu Valley. It covers the most beautiful walking routes. The trails are mainly through several settlements, farm fields and forest. It is amazing landscape around the valley. It will be full day hike include driving part.
7. Kakani SuryaChaur : After Breakfast will drive an hour to Kakani . Upon reaching Kakani, you’ll embark on a gentle hike towards Suryachaur, at an elevation of 2070 meters. This 3 to 4-hour hike winds through rhododendron forests and verdant trails, revealing ever-changing vistas of the majestic Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges.It is a short and easy Day Hike to the north of Kathmandu.
8. Panauti Saga : The Community Hike from Sanga to Panauti offers a serene escape through rural Nepal.
